Mangrove Planting Activity
Sumitomo Rubber (Thailand) Co., Ltd. continuously participate in mangrove planting activity at remembrance Lhuangprasae battleship, Pakkrasae Klang Rayong every year. The plans for mangrove tree planting are as detailed below.
National Children's Day, 2020
Cooperated with Amata City Rayong Industrial Estate, Sumimoto Rubber (Thailand) Co., Ltd. arranged National Children’s Day event on 9-10th January 2020 In the event, scholarship award ceremony and other activities were held. SRT also provided scholarships, worth 5,000 baht each, to Ban Phu Sai School, Ban Nong Rakam School, and Amata School.
Blood Donation Activity 2020
Sumitomo Rubber (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has triannually arranged blood donation activity. In 2020, there were 271 participants and 112,800 cc of blood was donated.
Donation for Medical Equipment Purchase Gathered by Golf Charity
Sumitomo Rubber (Thailand) Co., Ltd. arranged Golf Charity activity in order to participate in donation for medical equipment support given to Pluakdaeng Hospital, Rayong.
The Company delivered 500 kilograms of rice and 177,494.50 baht donation at the district office of Pluakdaeng on 21st February 2019.
Donation Provided for School Development
On 22nd July 2019, Sumitomo Rubber (Thailand) Co., Ltd. provided 30,000 baht donation to Chanthanaram (Sri Rong Muang Uthit) School for supporting the purchase of school and sport supplies.
On 28nd September 2019, Sumitomo Rubber (Thailand) Co., Ltd. provided donations of money, 5,000 baht, and books to Kao Khlong Soi School.
